31st August – 4 September 2022
Come and join us on this exciting practical straw bale building course in Selkirk, Scotland. We are working with self-builders Jenna and Trevor who have permission to build a load bearing, one and a half storey, straw-bale house with car tyre foundations. The house will be 8m x 13m, plus a round garden room, a porch and verandah. We have previously run a car tyre foundations course on site and Jenna and Trevor are now ready to start building the walls.
The course will cover practical aspects of strawbale building including:
- How to dress and customise bales
