Administrative & Marketing Coordinator

Job Type: 6-month Fixed-Term Role with potential for extension

Company: School of Natural Building –  Community Benefit Society

Location: Flexible, with some minimum time requirements in Todmorden, West Yorkshire

Background:

In today’s global built environment, increasingly dominated by cement and high-tech petrochemical products, it is easy to forget that ALL of our historic buildings, from the humblest cob cottage to the ancient temples and vast palaces of bygone eras, were built exclusively from natural materials. Which begs the question: why is the life expectancy of our modern buildings less than a human lifetime? How can this be sustainable?

About Us

The School of Natural Building (SNaB) exists to answer these, and many other, pertinent building-related questions. SNaB exists to empower people like you to make informed decisions about your own living environment. SNaB exists to educate whoever will listen. SNaB believes that things can change; that our broken construction industry CAN and MUST change.

The School of Natural Building is a pioneer in teaching self-builders, professionals and communities the skills necessary to construct high-quality buildings made from straw, timber and other natural materials.
