What Expertise are we looking for?

We welcome applications from anyone with a passion for natural building who thinks they have something to offer. Currently, our greatest needs are as follows:

Higher and Further Education (HE / FE)

Support our growth with colleges and universities, expanding residential courses and embedding natural building into academic programs.

Digital Marketing

Develop external communications to amplify our advocacy, telling transformative stories through campaigns, social media, and media production.

Financial Expertise

Strengthen our financial oversight with skills in forecasting, monitoring, and identifying opportunities.

Policy/Lobbying

Grow our advocacy capacity to promote natural materials at local and national levels. Networking or campaigning experience desired

Curriculum Development

SNaB wants to create accredited routes to professionalise in natural building, building on our exisitng course offerings.

Volunteer Coordination

Unlock the potential of our enthusiastic volunteer base by creating systems to engage them effectively.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, and particularly encourage applications from those typically excluded from the construction industry. Whether you have leadership experience, hands-on expertise, or a fresh perspective, your passion and commitment are what matter most.

What is the commitment?

Board members meet monthly (virtually), with an in-person gathering at least once a year and an annual general meeting (AGM). As a board member, you’ll also represent SNaB to external organisations and contribute to our collaborative decision-making.
